CHEM 32 Course Guide

G. Grade Requirements

     Each problem set will be assigned through email or ILC eLBI course site after covering the topic/s. The student will be given enough time to answer the problem set and should submit within the date/time specified by the lecturer. All submissions should be coursed through the ILC eLBI site. 

Final Exam

     This requirement is an overall assessment of the course. It will be held during the finals week according to the schedule to be released by the registrar (usually weeks before finals week). The final exam will be conducted through ILC eLBI course site.

    You have three graded requirements in CHEM 32:

- exercise and quizzes 45%
- four problem sets 45%
- final exam 10%

Each student should individually accomplish these requirements and within the period specified by the lecturer. Below is a brief description of each requirement. A passing grade of 60% will be implemented in CHEM 32.


Exercises and Quizzes

     This requirement will help the student assess how he/she understood each topic or subtopic covered. It will also aid the lecturer in how the student progressed throughout the course. This will only be accessed through the ILC eLBI course site and within a time period specified by the lecturer. 


Problem Sets

     This course will give four problem sets divided as follows:
