HNF 141 –Food and Nutrition Systems is a core course for BS Nutrition and a foundation course for BS Human Ecology and BS Agricultural Economics program. 

This course will  equip students with a holistic view of food and nutrition system. At the end of the semester, students are hoped to be able to: 


 1.     discuss food and nutrition system and its components;

2.     explain the concept of food and nutrition security; and

3.     analyze the relationship of the components of food and nutrition system with food and nutrition security.
